    I am wondering if it's plausible to use the child as the decisive factor in arguments related to divorce.
    For example, in Marriage Story , Charlie Barber is a successful theater director in New York City and the movie describes him as a responsible father as well. But his wife, Nicole, gains a huge advantage in the divorce by taking their child, Henry , to LA. We know for sure they are a family based in New York, so Henry must have some friends there.
